Typical Projects in Organisational Review

A division of a government agency undergoing commercialisation realised that it was not getting the help it needed from a Support Branch.   An Organisational Review of the branch indicated that to effectively support the change to commercialisation it must change its primary role from administration to strategic management.  As a result of the review a small semi-autonomous team of strategic management specialists was formed and administrative staff numbers were reduced. Work also included the design of new reporting lines and job descriptions, recruitment of some new staff and design of career transition strategies for existing staff who had the potential to fill the new positions.
