Typical Projects Completed in MentoringSetup of a Mentoring ProgramDevelopment and initial running of a Mentoring Program for a Government Agency. The objectives of the program were to both attract and retain more high quality staff and to hasten their development into productive employees. The mentoring program fitted within a Graduate Development Program. Work required to set up the program included: advising on selection of mentors, consultation with mentors, mentees and managers at all levels to ensure commitment to the success of the program and acceptance of roles and responsibilities required, design of the mentoring program and documenting it into a mentoring policy and mentee log-book and the initial running of mentee and mentor support groups. Mentors were experienced fellow workers of mentees. Mentoring during Consulting ProjectsMany of Change & Perform consulting projects have included mentoring. Examples are: mentoring a branch manager through processes for developing Key Performance Indicators for his Branch and mentoring managers as the develop their strategic plans into business plans that contain detailed strategies for marketing, operations, human resource management and financial management.
